We are looking for a Client Executive for our Private Client Services team in our Langley or Vancouver office!
The primary purpose of this position is to build trusted relationships with both clients and internal partners to identify Personal Insurance opportunities and deliver comprehensive insurance solutions. Working collaboratively with our Commercial Client Executive team, this role contributes to the growth and retention of a profitable book of business while supporting the company's overall business objectives.

Your day as a Private Client Services Advisor
- Partner closely with Commercial Client Executives to identify Personal Insurance opportunities within existing commercial client portfolios and deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to understand clients' evolving insurance needs and identify opportunities to add value.
- Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and insurance markets in a timely, professional, and client-focused manner.
- Develop account strategies, presentations, and other client communications in collaboration with Commercial Client Executives and leadership.
- Prepare and present tailored Personal Insurance recommendations and proposals for new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues across BFL to strengthen the visibility of Private Client Services and cultivate a strong internal referral network.
- Participate in client meetings, industry events, networking opportunities, and targeted business development initiatives to support relationship growth and brand awareness.
- Ensure insurance solutions and coverage recommendations meet or exceed each client's needs, expectations, and objectives.
- Deliver exceptional client service to maximize client retention through proactive communication, ongoing relationship management, and regular policy reviews.
- Oversee the preparation of underwriting submissions and maintain accurate documentation for client accounts and correspondence.
- Contribute to the growth of the Personal Insurance portfolio by developing opportunities through internal referrals, existing client relationships, networking, and other strategic business development activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance markets to support competitive solutions and exceptional client outcomes.
- Follow BFL policies and procedures, including security and quality standards, as amended from time to time.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Our Ideal Candidate
- 3–5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a strong background in Personal Lines within a brokerage environment.
- Level 2 General Insurance License required; CAIB, CIP, or other industry designation is considered an asset.
- Experience working with High Net Worth/High Value Home clients is required.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across teams and partner effectively with Commercial Client Executives.
- A consultative approach with the ability to identify client needs and uncover opportunities to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.
- Exceptional client service skills with a genuine commitment to building long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, listen actively, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative to follow through, solve problems, and take ownership of client outcomes.
- Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn, contribute, and continuously grow within a collaborative team environment.
- A willingness to support colleagues, share knowledge, and go the extra mile to achieve the best outcomes for clients and the team.
The expected salary for this role ranges from $65,000 to $95,000. Annual salary will be determined by factors including prior experience, location, business segment, and relevance of the candidate’s skills to the role.
