46 South Fish Company is a premium seafood importer and distributor supplying some of Canada's leading restaurants, retailers, distributors, and foodservice customers. We source exceptional seafood from British Columbia and around the world, connecting chefs and buyers with products they can trust.
We are looking for a motivated, driven individual who loves winning new business and building strong customer relationships.
This is not an order taking role.
We are seeking someone who enjoys the challenge of finding opportunities, opening new accounts, growing existing customers, and helping lead a growing business.
The successful candidate will work directly with the owner and play a key role in shaping the future growth of 46 South Fish Company.
What You'll Do
Sales & Business Development
- Develop new restaurant, retail, and distributor accounts
- Grow existing customer relationships across Canada
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities
- Build relationships with chefs, buyers, and decision makers
- Represent 46 South and our supplier partners in the marketplace
- Help win back and retain key accounts
Operations & Business Management
- Manage customer orders and ensure exceptional service
- Coordinate freight, logistics, and inventory requirements
- Work with suppliers and customers to solve problems quickly
- Support purchasing and product planning
- Assist in the day to day operation of the business
- Take increasing responsibility for business management and leadership
Who We're Looking For
You are someone who enjoys creating opportunities and making things happen.
You are comfortable picking up the phone, visiting customers, asking for the order, and building long term relationships. You are self motivated, organized, and take pride in delivering results.
You may come from seafood, foodservice, hospitality, distribution, or another relationship driven industry.
Most importantly, you know how to hunt for new business.
Qualifications
- Proven sales or business development experience
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Organized and detail oriented
- Valid driver's licence
- Experience in seafood, foodservice, distribution, or hospitality is an asset, but not required
