Your Key Responsibilities are:
- Manage the daily dinner shift operations, including meal preparation, service and clean-up
- Provide delicious, well-balanced, homestyle meals for up to 120 guests
- Weekly menu planning, efficiently maximizing our available grocery inventory and seasonal foods
- Assist our guests with check-ins, food sensitivities, and other inquiries, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
- Maintain paper and/or electronic records of daily dinner operations
- Monitor inventory levels and provide written updates to manager for re-ordering supplies
- Provide assistance to your team as required during your shift

● We pay you competitive wages from day one, starting at $260 - $280 per day (10-11.5-hour shift)
● We offer tiered wage increases, based on your performance.

● We give our team members 3 free meals for every 10-hour shift worked.
● We provide free Staff housing and access to the town Gym.
● We reimburse your travel expenses up to $120 within 500 km, and up to $500 within 1500km.
● We work 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
Other Requirements:
· Must have a minimum of 2 years experience cooking in an industrial Camp facility.
-Must be free of alcohol and drug addictions.
· Have a valid BC Food Safe Certificate.
· Have a valid Driver’s License.
· Submit to a criminal background check.
· Must be able to lift 30lbs frequently and up to 50lbs occasionally.
· Positions require standing, bending, and walking the entire workday.
· Experience with catering, baking and dessert creation is an asset.

We are an industrious, privately owned, open 45-man camp, just 8 minutes north of Fort St James, BC. Our guests are loggers, exploration-, & mining crews, operators, construction workers, fire fighters, tree planters, travelers and others.
We pride ourselves in serving delicious, home-cooked foods and offering clean, comfortable accommodations year-round.
Our expanded services include daily public breakfast & lunch service, catering for up to 150 guests, Tour Bus Service, and our own created events.
