Full Time Shipper/Receiver – Winnipeg, MB

As a Shipper/Receiver, the following will be your
key responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily operations of shipping, receiving, material handling, and inventory management
- Ensure all finished goods are shipped in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Operate mobile equipment including forklifts in the warehouse as required
- Complete necessary documentation to maintained uninterrupted workflow
- Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Assist plant personnel as needed, and requested by the leadership team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Basic mechanical skills and computer literacy
- Capable of performing physical job duties (may include lifting to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely)
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE), must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions (may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow-up
- Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Regular shifts are Monday to Friday with overtime available
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or agricultural setting
- Previous experience of forklift
- Trained in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
- High school diploma or equivalent
