Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Mechanic/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on various machinery and equipment, as well as supporting general labor tasks across our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience with power and hand tools, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with automotive repair, welding, electrical experience, or mechanical knowledge to apply their skills in a hands-on setting.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including heavy construction and excavation equipment, farm and industrial machinery
- Use welding techniques to repair or fabricate parts as needed
- Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for various repair tasks
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support installation or maintenance projects
- Perform electrical work related to machinery repairs or upgrades
- Support customer service efforts by ensuring equipment is maintained in optimal condition
- Assist with sales activities by providing technical knowledge during client interactions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Skills
- Welding expertise with the ability to fabricate and repair metal components
- Electrical experience related to industrial machinery and heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and general machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Previous mechanic experience with farm machinery, or similar heavy equipment, is highly desirable
- Customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes and systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively

Pay: $17.20-$29.06 per hour
