ROLE DESCRIPTION
What impact will you have in this role?
The Regional Operations Lead will focus on ensuring the operational aspects of the region are running efficiently and effectively as it relates to workforce operations and sales operations activities. The Regional Operations Lead will be a member of the Region Leadership team and have direct impact on the performance and success of the region.
The Regional Operations Lead will work directly with the Regional Practice Group Leads and Regional Delivery Management Lead to ensure the staffing process is executed efficiently, monitor Utilization, provide reporting/insights to need for recruiting/hiring based on anticipated demand, and help ensure Sales pipeline information is accurate and appropriately feeding the workforce planning activities for the region. The Regional Operations Lead will report to the Regional General Manager with a dotted line to the North America VP of Operations.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
Workforce Operations
Identify need for Recruiting Demand – FTEs, Contractors (help RLs manage Sub-contractor process)
Utilization Forecasting/Management
Planned v Actual (scheduling accuracy) reporting/follow-up
Staffing/Scheduling process execution (Requests, Decisions, etc.)
Skills Tracking/CV Tracking - Management
Bench Management / Training & Capability Development (assist RLs/Cap Leads)
Follow-up on Missing Timesheets and Timesheet adjustments
Sales Operations
CRM Hygiene – accuracy of active opportunities (including sales support tracking)
Deal Staffing (DPM) Maintenance/sync to Staffing Requests
Facilitate Deal Approval / Deal Flow process
Provide Sales Reporting and forecasting
Provide reporting for NPS and client satisfaction survey results
Teamwork
Partner with peer Regional Operations Leads to ensure effective utilization of New Signature resources across North America
Partner with Regional Finance Lead to ensure accurate alignment of scheduled and workforce planning hours to regional P&Ls
Partner with North America VP of Operations to ensure consistent processes and reporting are being followed and continuously improved to meet region requirements
Participate actively on the Region Leadership team
What are the key metrics for this role?
Region Utilization % at 70%+
Meet/exceed Region budgeted billable hours within a given fiscal year
Planned v. Actual metrics
90%+ of planned hard locked hours for a given week (excluding OT)
<15% misses of hard locked assigned hours
Block scheduling of consultants such that 90%+ are compliant at having 0 or 20 hours of availability week over week (excludes PMs & roles that typically do not get fully utilized)
90% of regional Consultants consume 80 hrs. of training per year
