Job Title: AZ Driver (Full-Time)
About MY CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY: We are a leading manufacturer and distributor of construction materials and building supplies. At MY CONSTRUCTION SUPPLY, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, efficiency, and excellent service delivery. We are now seeking a dedicated and skilled AZ driver to join our dynamic team for our own deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient transportation of goods within a 100km radius from our warehouse at 1295 Sutton Drive, Burlington, ON
- Daily deliveries using our tractor, trailer, and flat bed straight trucks.
- Transportation of flat bed loads from Burlington to GTA job sites and warehouses (no tarping required).
- Handling container chassis to transport containers between CN/CP yard in Brampton and our Brantford and Burlington warehouse (assistance with CN Brampton & CP Brampton registration provided).
- Occasionally lifting heavy items, up to a maximum of 50lbs.
- Adherence to a 5 days per week shift schedule, with flexible hours based on business needs and potential overtime opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience.
- Standard Transmission experience.
- Experience with flatbeds preferred.
- Operating Moffett truck skill.
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on building positive customer relationships.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Local candidates preferred.
- A valid, clean CVOR abstract is required for the interview.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly salary: $25 - $26/hour.
