Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and equipment operation. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse systems and the ability to operate various types of equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks , pallet jacks and dollies to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking, uncrating and assembling office furniture in preparation for delivery
- Support receiving activities by accurately unloading shipments
- Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Assist in warehouse organization and housekeeping to promote a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily goals
Requirements
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks
- Ability to preform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing
- Ability to work with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail without supervision
- Valid class 5 B.C. Drivers License
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
