This position is ideal for a high-energy, self-motivated, creative professional who is looking for an opportunity to further develop a dynamic nutrition sales career. Incumbent will be responsible for the Edmonton, Alberta and surrounding communities.

Major Responsibilities:
Stimulate retail sales through the promotion of infant formulas and prenatal vitamins to gain Healthcare Professional recommendations (physicians, nurses, etc.) based in community clinics and offices.

Manage and develop hospital accounts to targeted growth plan.

Prospect and build relationships with target Healthcare Professionals and Key Opinion Leaders.

Significantly contribute to the regional market share growth for infant formula & prenatal vitamins based upon agreed to strategies and product priorities.

Maintain a customer database to record customer information, call activity, actions, follow-ups and results etc.

Liaise with key customers and influencers in order to keep Nestlé apprised of latest nutrition research, trends and competitive activity, as well as to promote Nestlé as a Leader in Nutrition.

Plan, lead and/or participate in medical education events/conferences.

Manage business planning, customer database and reporting requirements according to deadlines.

Manage territory expenses and sample budget within company guidelines.

Qualifications:
University degree in business and/or nutritional science. Registered Dietitian is an asset.

Minimum 2 years successful direct sales experience, preferably within the Healthcare/Medical/Pharma Industry.

Ability to identify opportunities, develop and nurture key relationships, and plan/prioritize effectively.

Embraces continuous learning, and adapts well to business and market changes

Develop territory level business plans that align with the overall business strategy.

Self- motivated, results oriented with proven negotiation and selling skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and time-management skills.

Experience and understanding of hospital environment is an asset.

Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Experience with Salesforce Platform and software is a definite asset.

Proof of valid G class driver’s license required.

Must reside in the Edmonton area and be able and willing to travel as required.
