Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and litigating a variety of civil and commercial cases, providing expert legal advice, and representing clients in court proceedings. This role requires a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle complex legal issues efficiently. The Litigation Lawyer will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' legal interests are protected through strategic advocacy and thorough research.
Duties
- Draft, review, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and adherence to court deadlines
- Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies
- Develop case strategies through detailed analysis of facts, evidence, and applicable laws
- Negotiate settlements and other agreements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials with professionalism and confidence
- Maintain detailed case files and documentation for all proceedings and client communications
- Collaborate with colleagues and experts to build strong cases and stay updated on relevant legal developments
- Provide clear legal advice to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and potential courses of action
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in litigation, including courtroom appearances and case management
- Proficiency with LexisNexis or similar legal research tools
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients’ interests
- Excellent research abilities coupled with exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and reports
- Solid understanding of legal drafting standards and procedures
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues critically and develop strategic solutions
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to present arguments convincingly in court or negotiations

Pay: $65,125.26-$100,000.00 per year
