REVENUE ADMINISTRATOR - TORONTO, ON
We are looking for a detail-driven, highly organized professional to join our accounting department for a Property Management company located in Toronto (Yonge & Bloor).
If you love clean ledgers, accurate rent rolls, structured processes, and being the behind-the-scenes engine that keeps a residential portfolio running smoothly, this role is for you.
This is more than bookkeeping. You’ll play a key role in supporting Property Managers, ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act, and keeping tenant accounts accurate and audit ready.
A minimum 2-3 years of property management or full cycle accounting experience is required.
We are only accepting applications from candidates that currently live in Toronto, have permanent residence status, are able to work in Canada, and have all required paperwork.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Accounts Receivable & Financial Administration
- Manage the full Accounts Receivable cycle with accuracy and timeliness
- Electronically process and bank rent payments
- Maintain rent rolls, charges, market rents, and payment postings in the accounting system
- Prepare and analyze tenant account receivable reports, identifying and managing delinquencies
- Coordinate with collection agencies to recover outstanding balances
- Maintain strong data integrity to support accurate reporting and billing
Tenant Administration & Compliance
- Maintain and update tenant databases
- Review rental applications in alignment with company approval policies
- Administer sublets, assignments, and termination notices in compliance with legislation
- Prepare documentation related to claims, collections, evictions, and rent increases in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act
- Assist with Above Guideline Increase (AGI) applications, including eligibility review, documentation, tenant notices, and adjusting statements
- Create and maintain AGI tracking spreadsheets
Legal & Operational Coordination
- Liaise with paralegals and monitor legal files as required
- Act as a key liaison between Property Managers and site teams regarding tenant ledgers
- Respond to tenant inquiries related to accounts and services professionally and efficiently
- Prepare reports in Excel and SQL as required
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in property management or full-cycle accounting
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
- Experience working with accounting systems (Yardi or similar is an asset)
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act is an asset
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Skills and Experience:
- Excellent knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook), Hopem software, Power BI, and SQL.
- A great team player with strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organizational, problem solving, time management, and analytical skills
- Fluent in English - written and spoken. Other languages are always an asset especially French.
- Strong IT background.
- Experience with paperless office systems, scanning and process automatization.
- Accounting software
