Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Early Childhood Educator to join our team at our new location EverBright Academy (Unit 201, 897 Pembina Road - Sherwood Park). The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. Priority given to level 2s and 3s, and those with experience in the field.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the early childhood education curriculum
-Create beautiful engaging play provocations though the day.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Utilize computer operation skills to enhance educational activities
- Incorporate bilingual or special education techniques when necessary
- Engage children in educational activities that promote growth and development
Skills
- Proficient in early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong time management skills to effectively plan and execute lessons
- Excellent language and communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners
- MUST be able to multitask
- Familiarity with computerized tools for educational purposes
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
