Our office located in Thornhill is currently looking for a full-time Level II certified dental assistant. We run a clean, modern office and take pride in creating a great work environment. We are looking to hire an individual long-term to help support and establish our team.
Job Description: The dental assistant would be responsible for providing the patient with high quality care by performing a variety of office, laboratory, and patient care duties. This usually entails helping the dentist handle patients, instruments, and supplies during the treatment of the teeth, mouth, and gums. The dental assistant would also document patient care and take x-rays. We are looking for an individual who is able to manage well in a fast-paced work environment. We take pride in the relationships we have built with our patients. Thus, the ideal candidate would excel in communication, active listening, and empathy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Licensed as a Registered Level II Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year of experience preferred)
- CPR certification
- HARP certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Experience with Abledent
