Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by properly washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role is essential in supporting the overall food service operation, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality settings is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Duties
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning work areas.
- Support the kitchen team in food handling and basic food service activities to ensure timely meal service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards within the kitchen environment.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning, food handling, or restaurant/hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food service practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks comfortably.
- Basic understanding of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a kitchen setting.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.

Pay: $17.20-$23.37 per hour
