Job Description: Forklift Operator
Shift: Monday to Friday – 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Freezer enviroment (-20 degrees)
$23 per hour
Duties:
- Operate double deep reach,dockstocker & walkie to load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage areas
- Must have experience working in a freezer
- Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or production facility
- Stack and arrange products and materials in an organized manner
- Inspect forklifts before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and transactions
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet production goals
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification/license
- Experience using RF scanners for order picking, inventory tracking, and stock management
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or production setting
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and practices
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Must be comfortable working in a freezer/cold storage environment as required.
