Job Overview
Orchard Beach Grounds Department is currently looking for full-time seasonal staff with early morning availability from early now until sometime in November (weather dependent).
Your duties will include cutting greens, tees, fairways, rough, sand trap grooming and general landscape maintenance, etc. Some experience is preferred but not necessary, we will train. Very short shifts on some weekends and holidays during the golf season will be required. Typical work week can have some flexibility and ranges from 30 to 40 hours. Employment perks include free golf privileges and Pro Shop discounts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course by performing landscaping tasks such as mowing, raking, trimming, blowing, etc.
- Operate power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or interest in golf course/property maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely with attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward maintaining standards of course quality.
