Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS.
- Take food and drink orders from guests with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of food safety and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
- Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries or concerns promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist in opening or closing duties as needed, including restocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, proper food handling techniques, and basic math for cash handling transactions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a hospitality setting while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Basic math skills for accurate cashiering and transaction processing; familiarity with food industry standards is advantageous.
