The Beacon Centre is presently seeking clinical psychologists and clinical social workers for therapy services. We are a large private, group practice located in Paradise, NL. It is a vibrant workplace that offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy across the lifespan, as well as psychological assessment services. Services are offered in-person and virtually. Clinicians also provide educational workshops to numerous organizations and we serve as a training site for clinical psychology students and psychiatry residents.
The team environment at the Beacon Centre fosters growth and development. There are ample opportunities for both consultation and supervision. Clinicians at the Beacon Centre have access to a diverse testing library, as well as formal and informal case consultation and training events. We are also an approved sponsor of the CPA continuing education program and routinely offer continuing education sessions. In addition to growing your own client base, clinicians with the Beacon Centre benefit from our marketing efforts, ensuring client referrals are available. Clinicians have flexible work hours, having access to clinic space during weekdays, evenings, and weekends. In-person and virtual options are available.
Clinicians independently manage their preferred clinical caseload including the number and types of clients seen. Our facility includes furnished office space with air conditioning, reception, waiting areas, and a kitchen. We offer administrative support, referral and intake services, psychometry services, case consultation meetings, and access to practice management software.
Educational and Registration Requirements:
Interested psychologists are required to be in the process of registration or registered with the Newfoundland Psychology Board (NLPB). Graduate degree required. If needed, directors facilitate provisional year(s) of supervision onsite with another associate/director.
Interested social workers are required to be in the process of registration or registered with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Social Workers (NLCSW). Graduate degree required.
