Capital Timber Company is hiring a full-time Ground Crew / Arborist Apprentice Path position to join our growing team serving Ottawa and surrounding areas.

This position provides an opportunity to develop skills within the arboriculture industry and advance into higher-responsibility roles, including progression into our Arborist Apprentice role.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting arborists and climbers during tree removals and pruning operations
- Operating ropes and ground support systems safely
- Brush handling and wood management
- Job site clean-up and organization
- Safe operation of chainsaws and wood chippers
- Assisting with equipment operations
- Driving trucks and trailers when qualified
This position requires someone comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and capable of performing physically demanding work.

Requirements:
- Valid Class G licence
- Reliable transportation to Kinburn
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions

- First Aid certification
- Truck or trailer experience
- Heavy equipment experience
- Working at Heights training
- Previous tree service experience
Training provided for the right candidate.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting wage typically begins around $21/hr, with advancement based on skills and responsibilities
- Employees advancing into Arborist Apprentice roles typically progress to approximately $24/hr and beyond
