The Bannister Automotive Groups KIA dealership in Grande Prairie, Alberta is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy, customer-focused service department.
This opportunity is ideal for a proven automotive leader who enjoys building strong teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving consistent operational performance. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Service Department, including team development, customer satisfaction, profitability, process improvement, and departmental growth.
What You'll Be Responsible For

Leading and developing a team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff

Creating a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture

Delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting customer retention

Monitoring and improving key performance metrics, including labour sales, gross profit, productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Managing departmental expenses and overall profitability

Working closely with Fixed Operations leadership to achieve department objectives

Recruiting, coaching, and retaining top talent

Ensuring operational processes are followed consistently while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
What We're Looking For

Previous automotive Service Manager experience

Strong leadership and team development skills

Proven ability to drive service department performance

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

Strong understanding of dealership operations, KPIs, and financial performance

Customer-first mindset with a results-oriented approach

Experience with dealership management systems and manufacturer processes is considered an asset
