The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers at the dealership, and will help create positive customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, have a team-player attitude, and be detail-oriented.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet customers in a prompt and friendly manner
- Listen to customer needs and take appropriate action/notify appropriate person(s)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Administrative duties such as stocking in vehicles and keys, maintain detailed records, filing and mailing, etc.
- Maintain a professional appearance
Essential abilities and skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Organized with an attention to detail and strong ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office programs
- Flexible and open to change; initiative to take on extra tasks at times
- Conflict resolution
Education and experience:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience in customer service
- Experience in reception in a dealership environment would be considered an asset
- Bilingualism would be considered an asset
