Prodevco Robotic Solutions designs, builds and sells industrial robotic and CNC cutting equipment for the steel manufacturing industry.
The robotic equipment consists of an industrial 6-axis robot for handling the cutting tool, an industrial computer that converts the drawings into robot trajectories and displays the data for the operator, several sensors and electronic actuators and a mechanical system to handle the material to be cut.
The robotic equipment fabrication is done in our 185 000 square foot plant located in Vaughan, Ontario. The software development and remote support are done from both our offices, in Vaughan, Ontario and Saint-Georges, Québec.
Our clients using these equipment are mainly located in Canada and the United-States, in steel manufacturing plants.
Mission and responsibilities
The technical support department comprises a dynamic and versatile team of technicians who work to support our clients, mainly remotely but also at the client’s site when required. Using a suite of online software, specialists communicate with customers and their machines to resolve issues that may arise while using their robotic cell. Specialists are also called upon to visit customers during the installation of new cells or in order to deepen the diagnosis and provide direct assistance to the customer.
The support and development departments need regular communications with our Korean partners. As such, we are specifically looking for a candidate that is bilingual ( English/ Korean)
Experience and qualifications
To properly integrate the multidisciplinary team, the support specialist must have good knowledge of one or more of the following fields: Robotics, industrial mechanics, electricity and/or electronics. He must be comfortable communicating with clients in English, both verbally and in writing.
Being able to communicate in Korean, both verbally and in writing, is required for this position, which might include technical as well as administrative translating tasks.
Specific training on our equipment and software will be given during integration of the chosen candidate.
A college degree in one of the following fields is preferred:
- Industrial Electronics Technology
- Computerized Electronic Technology
- Industrial Maintenance Technology
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
Any related training or experience will be considered.
Workplace and conditions
- Offices located in Vaughan, Ontario and Saint-Georges, Québec

- Must be able to travel in all of North America
- Travel time and related expenses are paid
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.05-$28.95 per hour
