Oncore Seniors Society is looking for a skilled individual interested in part-time maintenance work for our Kamloops communities.
This Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled individual keen on helping seniors live their best life. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring the Kamloops communities are well maintained and that our suites are all in working condition.
Key attributes of this person will include:
- Perform routine building and equipment maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document all work performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other staff to support facility operations.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, up to 24 hours per week.
Salary: $25 per hour

Work Environment:
The Oncore team is made up of diverse people that work in a variety of departments. The successful candidate will be joining the Leadership Team. As the main contact for all maintenance requests and projects it is essential that the Community Maintenance Worker works closely with the General Manager to ensure that the communities are functioning at their best.

Oncore Seniors Society is a non-profit organization focused on providing affordable housing and independent living supports to Seniors and Adults with Disabilities. The Oncore team’s passion is to make a positive difference to the quality of life of our residents, focusing on an equitable high-quality experience.
They currently have four locations in Kamloops and one location in Prince George.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years working experience in a facilities management, or general maintenance role.
- Satisfactory criminal record check.
- Must have a vehicle so that they are able to pick up supplies.
- Class 5 Drivers License and acceptable driver’s abstract.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, or HVACs would be an asset.
