Birmingham International Collegiate of Canada (BICC) is a private, Ontario-inspected secondary school (BSID: 668260) located in midtown Toronto. We specialize in supporting international students in Grades 9–12 to achieve the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and transition successfully to university.

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable English and/or Social Science Teacher to teach senior-level OSSD courses such as:
- ENG4U / ENG3U/ESL
- Senior Social Sciences
You will be working with international students and supporting both their academic development and transition into the Canadian education system.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons (Ontario curriculum)
- Prepare assessments, assignments, and learning materials
- Provide clear, constructive feedback on student progress
- Support students with varying English proficiency levels
- Maintain accurate records (marks, attendance, reports)
- Collaborate with administration and counselling team
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Education, English, or Social Sciences)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to teach and support international students
Preferred (but not required):
- Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification
- Experience teaching OSSD courses (e.g., ENG4U)
- Experience in private or international school settings
