Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, Overtime as needed
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Welder to join our team in Blackfalds, AB. This role involves a mix of production welding, custom fabrication, and repair work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you’re a skilled welder who enjoys variety, precision, and teamwork, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, and ARC welding on various metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Fabricate custom prototypes, jigs, and fixtures.
- Operate welding and metal shaping equipment (brakes, shears, flame-cutting tools, etc.).
- Collaborate with supervisors and team leads to meet production goals.
- Conduct repairs, retrofits, and refurbishments on returned products.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 5 years of experience welding
- Journeyman Certification (considered an asset).
- CWB certification (considered an asset).
- Proficient in GMAW and SMAW.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor work, including construction sites.
- May require lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Use of PPE (e.g., steel-toed boots, safety glasses) is mandatory.
- Overtime and 24/7 availability may be required.
