Overview
We are looking for someone available on Tuesday from 11-6. Must have at least one year experience in making Maki / Sushi.
Candidates should be committed to delivering exceptional food service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sushi, including maki rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled according to food safety standards
- Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, including basic cooking and meal assembly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Follow all food handling protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and efficient food delivery
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen roles within the food industry or restaurant environment
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Knowledge of food industry best practices related to meal preparation and food safety standards
- Experience in cooking or food service is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
- Time : Monday-Thursday 10-6pm. (can be a little flexible)
- Must have some experiences in making make rolls
