Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food safely and maintain proper sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes before they are served
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen workflow and timely service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
