```Duties```
Toileting, hygiene and personal care including showers, dressing, massage and exercises, daily routines.
Meal Preparation: 3 meals a day. Includes guests, small dinner parties, meetings. Variety of international cooking ability an asset.
Cleaning: Thorough cleaning of 2 bdrm+den condo, including dusting, all laundry duties, floors, kitchen care, etc. and prep for personal assistant on next shift.
Driving my personal van (Dodge Caravan) if required: may involve taking me for outings, intermittent activities with friends or social events, shopping, errands.
Help with correspondence (writing cards, filing documents, letters, etc). Basic computer skills for email, searches/printing, an asset.
Familiarity with manual and power wheelchairs.

Exceptional listening/comprehension skills and total comfort in taking instruction/following direction
Ability to work cooperatively/supportively within a team
A calm, collected, reassuring demeanor when facing a physical challenge or emergency situation. PHYSICAL STRENGTH AND GOOD BODY MECHANICS MANDATORY.
Ability to work independently in managing care and household duties, including guests.
Willingness to cook (or learn to cook) international foods.
Discreet, trustworthy
Detail-oriented
Capability to be resourceful to solve unexpected problems, self-confident.
Aptitude for sound judgment and follow-through on tasks.
Ability to identify changes in physical capacity and recognize medical needs
Able to lift 25+ lbs (manual wheelchair into/out of car)
