Stellar applicants should have the following:
Ability to analyze, prepare, maintain and update files, observation reports and documentation; ensures adherence to standard operating guidelines, procedures, best practices and departmental policies; updates and maintains forensic equipment, tools and software.
Sound knowledge of the functions of departments served and their requirements as applied to the work performed.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships with others.
The ability to handle exposure to graphic child & adult sexually explicit material, violence, and death.
Ability to maintain strong self-care practices and emotional health.
Ability to carry up to 30 pounds.
Able to walk on uneven terrain.
Able to provide Court testimony.
A minimum two year diploma program in computer technology or related discipline at a technical institute or community college including courses related to digital extraction technology.

Poised and tactful in stressful situations, you possess sound judgment as well as excellent listening, communication, decision-making and customer service skills. Must obtain and maintain RCMP reliability clearance.

In addition to a CUPE hourly rate of $30.98 to $36.45 (2019 rates) and a competitive benefits package, you can anticipate a lively, fast-paced environment plus opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Anticipated hours of work are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday but could require evening and weekend work.
