Secondary School
Textiles Teacher (0.42 FTE)
Part-time temporary position, with an intended start date of February 1, 2027, to June 30, 2027.
Textiles 9, Textiles 10/11 & Textiles 12
This position includes three blocks of Textiles in a four-block schedule in the second semester only.
The successful applicant will possess a valid teaching certificate and relevant education and experience in Textiles.
The position will remain open until filled, with the first round of interviews expected on June 15th, 2026.
The annual salary for each teacher position is determined by qualifications and experience for placement on the MEI Teacher Salary Grid. For the 2026-2027 school year, a full-time BC Certified Teacher salary (with a certificate of qualification from the BC Ministry of Education and Childcare and with a university degree and a professional teacher education program) ranges from $69,050 to $113,295.
