Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Restaurant Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards, and supporting daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions efficiently
- Prepare and serve food items following proper food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Assist in food preparation tasks to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Support team members with various tasks including restocking supplies and cleaning as needed
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to health regulations and safety protocols
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with guests
- Basic kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items tactfully to enhance guest experience and sales performance
