Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain excellent customer service and professional attitude
- Regular communication with your manager
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on all work sites and have a working knowledge of any local construction site safety protocols
- Complete required paperwork with accuracy according to company policies, procedures and protocols
- Move equipment/products safely and securely (heavy lifting)
- Ensure all products being moved matches with the paperwork
- Operate equipment/tools used for assembly and installation of fitness equipment and accessories
- Assemble product according to manufacturer’s specifications
- Complete a thorough product testing after the installation
- Remove all packaging from the installation site and ensure the site is clean and tidy before departing
- Ensure that products being delivered are not damaged. Report all damaged to your manager (property, equipment, etc)
- Drive company vehicles as required for deliveries
- Obey all road rules and traffic legislation while driving company vehicles
- May require occasional travel for work out of town (including overnight stay)
- Utilizing navigation apps and maintaining an organized travel schedule
- Maintain accurate and up-to date logbook
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks and ensuring enough gas is in the tank for the next day
- Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the company service vehicle, including washing outside and interior detailing
- Assist other team members when needed
- Other tasks as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Recognize the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with customers, vendors and co-workers
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Experience with tools and assembly of fitness equipment (preferred)
- Mechanically inclined with technical knowledge on fitness equipment operations (preferred)
- Competent computer skills
- Capable and confident individual focused on providing excellent customer service
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Must be accountable, reliable and have good problem-solving skills
- Organized with ability to balance priorities
- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through
- Ability to safely lift heavy products up to 55 lbs. on your own
- Ability to safely lift heavy products as team lift over 100 lbs.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written (fluent in English)
- Team player with a positive “can do” attitude
- Have great work ethic and eager to learn new things
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract and satisfactory criminal record check
