We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The Line Cook is responsible for the precise and timely preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
The Line Cook Supervisor will work closely with the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to oversee all aspects of the line cooking operation.
- Supervision & Training:
- Directly supervise, train, and mentor all line cooks to ensure consistent performance and adherence to standard recipes and procedures.
- Lead by example, setting a high standard for hygiene, safety, and productivity.
- Quality Control & Execution:
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of all menu items to ensure they meet Chuck's high-quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion size.
- Monitor ticket times and expedite orders efficiently during peak service hours.
- Operations & Inventory:
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, rotating, and storing ingredients.
- Ensure all stations are properly stocked, cleaned, and organized before, during, and after service.
- Identify and report equipment maintenance needs.
Skills
- Proven experience in a professional food service, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment is highly preferred.
- Strong foundational knowledge of various food preparation techniques and standard cooking methods (e.g., grilling, sautéing, frying).
- Familiarity with inventory rotation and general food industry best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional focus on cleanliness and hygiene, strictly adhering to sanitation standards throughout all stages of food service.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices (HACCP principles).
- Ability to maintain a safe and organized workstation at all times.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills required to coordinate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
