Journey with Jess Counselling is a growing psychotherapy practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health support to individuals, couples, and families across Ontario. Our team values professionalism, collaboration, inclusivity, and client-centred care.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) to join our team for in-person sessions at our Bowmanville office and virtual services across Ontario. The ideal candidate will provide mental health support and psychotherapy to diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. This role involves providing compassionate, client-centered psychotherapy services, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and supporting clients through assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing care.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Conduct client assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing case management
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Deliver ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care
- Offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions
- Assist with case management, ensuring continuity of care and follow-up for patients
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment outcomes in compliance with CRPO regulations
- Support patients through emotional support, education, and resource navigation
Qualifications
- Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Professional liability insurance required
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable using virtual platforms for online therapy
- Availability for days, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to commit to availability for approximately 5–10 sessions per week to start, with potential for growth

Pay: From $104.00 per hour
