Seasonal Chef – Guest Ranch
Flying U Ranch | Green Lake, BC
Contract: May to Mid-October
Spend the summer working at Canada’s largest guest ranch, located on the shores of beautiful Green Lake in the Cariboo. The Flying U Ranch (www.flyingu.com) is seeking an experienced cook to join our kitchen team for the upcoming season.
This role is based in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, preparing meals for up to 100 guests per service. Meal services run daily at 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, and 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute high-quality meals for large groups
- Manage and accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist with menu planning and daily kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience
- Proven ability to work in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Experience managing dietary needs and special requests
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with limited supervision
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented
