Here’s your opportunity to reset in 2026, on your own terms. We are looking for a Vancouver Island-based Pharmacist to fill a unique relief contract in the beautiful Cowichan Valley region during two specific periods this summer and fall. This is an excellent chance to step away from the daily grind, explore one of BC’s most stunning areas, and return with a significantly improved financial situation across two separate, high-impact blocks.
The Location: Cowichan Valley
Trade the urban commute for a relaxed lifestyle on Vancouver Island. On your days off, enjoy incredible hiking, world-class wineries, and vibrant local markets. It’s a chance to experience life as a visitor while earning professional wages.
The Commitment:
- Block 1: July 12 – August 02, 2026
- Block 2: September 11 – October 30, 2026
(Two separate contracts)
The Compensation: Up to $70 - $100/hour (Travel rate included for eligible candidates)
Want to maximize your earnings on this contract? You have the option to work extended hours, allowing you to accumulate even more in a short timeframe. Whether you stick to the standard schedule or take on extra shifts, this contract positions you to earn a substantial amount. - Manageable Volume: 160–170 prescriptions daily (No Methadone, minimal injections).
- Strong Support: You’ll work with 3–4 Assistants and benefit from overlapping pharmacist coverage for several hours per shift.
- Easy Technology: Fully paperless environment using Kroll, so you can start quickly.
The Schedule (Standard hours; overtime available to boost your income):
- Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sundays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
It’s a targeted schedule, but your days off are free for exploration. And with the ability to take extra hours, you decide exactly how large your payday will be.
