THE JOB
Are you an experienced forklift operator who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Dock Worker / Forklift Operator to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of inbound and outbound freight, operating a forklift in busy dock areas, loading and unloading shipments, and organizing freight for city and linehaul trailers. You will also assist with shipment-related administrative tasks while helping maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting daily deadlines.

- Tuesday to Friday: 4:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.;
- $20/hr;

REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements: A valid Nova Scotia Forklift Certification, TDG certification, and a verified clear criminal record check are required. Candidates requiring a work permit must have a permit valid for a minimum of one year. Applicants must be physically capable of lifting between 50 and 75 lbs and comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks including lifting, bending, reaching, crouching, and standing for extended periods. Own transportation is required. Safety is a top priority, and candidates must follow all company procedures, use proper lifting techniques, wear required PPE at all times, and remain aware of their surroundings while working around moving equipment and vehicles.
