Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items on the charcoal grill, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency across dishes
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food products safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, especially grilling with charcoal
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
