The Partnerships Ecosystems and Strategic Alliances Marketing Manager provides strategic planning, business enablement and tactical deployment support for go-to-market initiatives across EY Canada’s alliances ecosystem, including program management, execution and measurement of results. You will work closely with the internal alliances and partnership leaders, as well as with our external alliance partners, to drive go-to-market programs and initiatives that increase awareness, generate leads, strengthen customer and partner relations and contribute to joint revenue growth.

From reputation through to relationships and revenue, succeeding in this role will mean understanding our business, the alliances ecosystem, our clients and our brand – and then continuously evolving our strategy and account plans to help us win.

Key responsibilities:
Create and execute the alliance marketing strategy, including developing and executing individual plans with key alliance partners, and identify impactful go-to-market activities required to achieve market growth.
Be the single point of contact for alliances marketing internally and with key alliance partners to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns that drive demand generation, and work with the broader marketing and business development teams to align the alliance marketing programs with national marketing initiatives
Work hand in hand with the alliances and solutions support teams, including business development executives, account managers, pursuit strategists and marketing team to drive connectivity and best practices within the community. Provide insight on account strategy, planning, management and operations.
Develop joint success stories, thought leadership and sales enablement materials to support pipeline and revenue growth
Project manage go-to market activities and prioritize initiatives that support the overall alliances strategic plan, alliance partner-specific plans, opportunity development and account management.
Identify demand, trends and opportunities through insightful analysis of the market, accounts, and continuously identify new opportunities for improvement.
Enhance internal awareness of alliances ecosystem and capabilities through targeted communications and campaigns aligned to business goals

Skills and attributes for success:
Strong understanding of alliance marketing, specifically SaaS or tech organization experience and how to effectively translate market insights into world-class go-to-market programs
Ability to work alongside and effectively communicate with senior executives (internally and with key external partners), being seen as a credible and diplomatic trusted advisor
Strong business acumen and grasp of leading brand-to-demand tactics
Experience bridging thought leadership, solutions, and client issues to build meaningful conversations and bolster relationships
At ease managing multiple high-priority projects and navigating ambiguity in a deadline-driven and matrixed environment
Strong analytical and quantitative skills – comfortable in reviewing reports, interpreting data and identifying trends that will assist in further targeting appropriate go-to-market activities that will generate pipeline growth
Strong strategic, organizational, and autonomous project management skills
Compelling public speaker and communicator who articulates concepts and ideas clearly
Process-driven, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to work both independently and with the team, relying on strong influencing skills to achieve results
A strong executive presence
Excellent relationship building skills, adapting to all levels of internal and external stakeholders at Global scale
Enthusiastic team player who thrives on new challenges, big ideas, and curiosity
Strong organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and complex projects and initiatives at one time
Strong knowledge and expertise in the firm's solutions and service offerings

Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree; graduate degree preferred, in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
Previous experience working with Partnerships, Strategic Alliances and Acquisitions (I.e. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, P&G, Thomson Reuters or other alliances). Past experience in professional services highly desirable.
7+ years of relevant business experience
Strong program/project/campaign management and execution experience
A proven ability to manage multiple go-to-market initiatives, resulting in pipeline creation and sales
In-depth knowledge of account management, and relationship and opportunity tools and processes
