Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and cabinetry, with the ability to fabricate and assemble high-quality cabinets and furniture. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and understanding construction techniques. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers and clients to ensure that all projects meet specifications and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble cabinets, furniture, and other wood products according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for precise cutting, shaping, and finishing of materials.
- Ensure all components are plumb, level, and square during assembly.
- Perform quality checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in woodworking or carpentry.
- Strong skills in fabricating, assembling, and finishing cabinetry.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, masonry techniques, and concrete forming is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to woodworking operations.
