What You’ll Do
- Work on cutting edge projects
- Play outside developing stream assessments, installing & maintaining hydrometric monitoring stations
- Provide hydrometric field services: discharge measurements, water quality sampling, bathymetric surveying
- Develop hydrometric, weather and climate, bathymetric and GIS-based data
- Produce hydrometric data computations and quality assurance, like rating curve, stage, and discharge time series development
- Write hydrometric reports
- Help manage clients and projects
What You’ll Bring
- A positive and motivated personality!
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and be able to work with team members in a multi-disciplinary environment
- A desire to learn new skills and an eagerness to grow within your role
- Technology Diploma in Water Resources, Environmental Technology/Science or similar
- A valid BC driver’s license
- 0-2 years experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in hydrometric monitoring and/or a consulting environment would be an asset
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel
- The physical ability to conduct field visits concordant with hydrometric work. This may include: handling & operating equipment, travelling to remote areas by vehicle, boat, air or foot, and outdoor site visits in all weather conditions on uneven/varying ground terrain

Wage Range
- $55,000-60,000, wage dependent on years of experience
