Front Desk / Ophthalmic Assistant
This is an exciting position at a centrally located eye clinic and surgery center in Edmonton. The role mainly involves front desk duties but training would be provided in other areas of the facility as well.
The position would include:
-Answering the phone and booking patient appointments
-Receiving and triaging referrals from other doctors
-Greeting patients and entering information in the EMR
-Booking follow up appointments and other administrative or clinical duties
Potential candidates must be detail oriented, possess good communication skills and have the ability to multitask.
Previous experience in an ophthalmic, optometry or medical clinic is an asset, but a good work ethic, reliability and attitude is most important.
