Primary Duties:
-Operate filling machines (which includes automated line of paint filling containers, stacking the lids, adding labels to the containers and put the finished container on the box to build a skid)
-Ensure the completion of jobs meeting quality and quantity requirements.
-Operate a forklift (propane and electric) to move finished products from the Fill Line to the warehouse
-Wash tanks and filling equipment
-Use process equipment such as valves, pumps, scales and metres to operate and maintain the filling machines
-Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are clean, in good working order and free of any safety hazards.
-Able to do basic troubleshooting of automated machines
-Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations including department and housekeeping standards.
-Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records and documents.
-Comply with the requirements of the Environmental Management System and the Quality Management System.
-Employ procedures and practices to reduce risk to employee health and risks to the surrounding community.
-Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
Qualifications:
-Propane Counterbalance Forklift Certificate, Electric Raymond Reach is mandatory
-Basic Mathematical Skills
-Work well independently and within a team
-Problem solving skills
-Commitment to reaching production schedules under tight deadlines
-Communication and interaction with other production staff and upper management
-Adherence to company core values and Health and Safety Policies
-Strict attention to detail in following procedures, documentation, equipment usage, chemical handling and storage
-GED or High School Diploma
-Computer Literacy – ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
-Physically capable - lift to 50 lbs, constantly standing
-Able to handle repetitive tasks

-Consider environmental aspects and impacts during the design of products and services.
-Follow applicable SOPs, work instructions, and control procedures.
-Maintain accurate technical records in accordance with quality and safety programs.
-Promote awareness of health and safety hazards and safe work practices within areas of responsibility
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour
