Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Technician for Fort McKay Logistics LP. Under minimal supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for picking up freight at the warehouses and delivering to the appropriate areas as per drop off point using a delivery truck and/or a forklift. The incumbent is to conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission, vision and values of the Fort McKay Group of Companies LP. This is a permanent, full-time position located at Canadian Natural Albian Sands Site, North of Fort McMurray, AB.

Duties, Responsibilities and Skills Required:
Must have a good working knowledge of materials used in the industry
Load and offload trucks
Pick items as per work orders
Operate forklifts and flat deck trucks
Lift and carry boxes
Be alert to risks and threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
Must be dependable and reliable
Strong organizational skills such as multi-tasking, setting and resetting priorities
Must be flexible and work effectively in a fast paced environment
Must be decisive and work well under pressure; particularly when faced with an unexpected occurrence or delay
Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills are vital
7 on – 7 off schedule; days and nights

Minimum Qualifying Requirements:
Minimum of one (1) year experience of related industry experience in warehousing or inventory management is required
High School Diploma or GED is required
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, use fall protection
Parts Technician Journeyman Certification considered an asset
Valid CSO certification (or combination of CSTS and OSSA or BSO is required)
Valid Class five (5) driver's license and a clean five (5) year driver's abstract is required
Forklift certification is required
Loader with grapple experience is an asset
Microsoft Office Suite experience is required
Maximo experience is an asset

Working Conditions:
There are occasions when the individual may come into contact with dust due to the site's conditions and with fluids from the vehicles such as windshield washer, coolant and oil. Vehicle inspection regardless of weather conditions is required daily.
