We have an amazing opportunity for a Workforce Innovation Consultant (WIC), Staffing Services Transformation.

The Workforce Innovation Consultant (WIC), Staffing Services Transformation provides expertise, direction, education, and support to facilitate the achievement of the mission, goals, and objectives of Interior Health (IH), supporting Staffing Services projects. This role is responsible for identifying business requirements, assisting in measurement of key objectives, identifying and tracking system requirements, and supporting the organization in change management. In addition, the WIC, Staffing Services Transformation provides insight and recommendations to various levels of management on issues that relate to staffing services projects.

This is a term position until June 30, 2021. The work location is flexible, and can be located anywhere within our health service region.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides content expertise for new systems and reports; requires an understanding of the customers’ needs and an ability to influence and communicate with associated parties to ensure the final product is viable for all parties involved, as well as for IH as a whole.
  • Gathers, documents and tracks system requirements from the Staffing Services Center, operational leaders, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • Analyses and compiles complex qualitative and quantitative data from multiple data sets to identify trends and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Identifies operational reporting requirements and collaborates with key stakeholders to identify key performance indicators.
  • Proactively develops strong liaisons with key IH and provincial stakeholders to assist in identifying project implementation strategies.
  • Provides direction to project teams by advising on best practices, working through complex issues, and ensuring compliancy with IH policies and Collective Agreements.
  • Evaluates project key objectives and monitors effectiveness of solution.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, analytical, or healthcare-related studies.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a role related to the duties of the position.
  • Or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.
