We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Sanitation & Facilities Clerk to join our team.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Sanitation & Facilities Clerk is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of our warehouse and office facilities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our warehouse remains compliant with food safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, and SQF standards.
The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, works independently, and has strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of warehouse floors, offices, lunchrooms, washrooms, docks, and common areas.
- Follow all company sanitation procedures and food safety requirements.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation schedules and cleaning logs.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
- Dispose of garbage, recycling, and waste materials safely and efficiently.
- Clean warehouse equipment, racking, dock areas, doors, and other facility assets.
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, soap dispensers, and PPE as required.
- Conduct routine inspections and report sanitation, maintenance, or safety concerns to management.
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are properly stored, labeled, and used according to company procedures.
- Support pest control and food safety programs by maintaining a clean environment.
- Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and other facility-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, janitorial, sanitation, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a food-grade warehouse or manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, or food safety standards is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
