Reporting to the Divisional Accountant, this role is on our Finance team.
You'll do:
- Enter accounts payable into Oracle Financials
- Ensure invoices and cheque requests are properly supported and approved
- Review account coding and correct any miscoding
- Ensure the accuracy of sales tax (GST and PST) and identify and calculate self-assessments where required
- Match invoices to approval batches
- Process contractor pay batches
- Support to the team in additional administrative duties as needed
You have:
- Post-secondary training in administration or accounting, or 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in Oracle accounts payable is an asset
- High degree of accuracy with numbers and strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be flexible and be able to adjust to changing workloads and tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, advanced Excel skills
- A self-starter with the initiative to learn and grow
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary. The typical salary range for this position is $52,500-$62,000, which may vary depending on education and relevant experience.
