Kettle Valley Pub is a neighbourhood spot in Kelowna where regulars catch the game, families come in for dinner, and friends gather over a cold craft pint or a glass of local Okanagan wine. The role
We're hiring servers/bartenders to join our front-of-house team. You'll work the floor and the bar, taking orders, pouring drinks, running food, keeping tables turning, and making sure every guest leaves happy.
What you'll do
- Greet and serve guests with genuine warmth and attentiveness
- Take food and drink orders, make recommendations, and answer questions about our menu, craft beer lineup, and Okanagan wine list
- Pour, mix, and serve a range of drinks at the bar
- Keep your sections and the bar area clean, stocked, and service-ready
- Handle cash, card, and POS transactions accurately
- Work alongside the kitchen and the rest of the team to keep service smooth, especially on game nights and busy weekends
- Help create a welcoming environment for everyone, sports fans, families, and first-timers alike
What we're looking for
- A genuine willingness to learn and improve. This matters more to us than experience
- Friendly, dependable, and able to ramp up speed during busy hours
- Comfortable on your feet for full shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Clear communicator who works well with teammates and kitchen staff
- Serving It Right certification required (or willingness to obtain before your first shift)
