Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Motel Manager to oversee daily operations at our property. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage staff, ensure excellent guest service, and maintain the overall efficiency of the motel. The ideal candidate will bring hospitality expertise, strong supervisory skills, and a passion for creating welcoming environments.
Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest services and uphold company standards
- Manage budgeting, financial records, and daily revenue reports to ensure profitability
- Oversee human resources functions including staffing, training, and performance evaluations
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive attitude to foster guest satisfaction
- Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping schedules to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Implement policies and procedures that promote operational excellence and compliance with hospitality regulations
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in hospitality or hotel management roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Knowledge of hotel operations, front desk management, and human resources practices
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and operational planning in a hospitality setting
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
