We"re hiring a Project Manager to lead the build of a new Canadian Tire store. This is a high-impact role focused on managing timelines, overseeing interior execution, coordinating with Field Merchandising and Product Flow, and ensuring the operational readiness of the new location. The Project Manager will also build and lead a team, implement systems, and train store staff in preparation for opening.

Salary:

Responsibilities:
We"re hiring a Project Manager to lead the Concept Connect renovation of our Canadian Tire store. This is a high-impact role focused on managing timelines, overseeing interior execution, coordinating with the Field Merchandising and Product Flow teams, and ensuring the continued operational readiness of the location. The Project Manager will also build and lead a team, implement systems, and train store staff in preparation for Grand Reopening.
Given the scope and visibility of this project, it's an excellent opportunity for someone with strong retail and capital project management experience to make a mark. Success in this role may lead to consideration for future leadership opportunities, including Assistant Store Manager, Store Manager and the General Manager position.
Responsibilities:
- Concept Connect project management including resource allocation, scheduling, fixture coordination and project phasing
- Hiring and coordination of store team for fixture installation and merchandising
- Training and coordination of all operational processes
- Training all new project staff
- Daily coordination with store team, project team, corporate support and contractors
- Developing systems and procedures and implementing them in the store
- Coordination of all Health and Safety procedures and implementation of these procedures in the store
- Adherence to project timelines
- Managing wages and operational budget
- Other duties as required.
Requirements / Skills

Extensive Senior Management experience in-store and project management experience
- Extensive experience in building teams, managing people, managing large projects and someone who has a successful track record.
- The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build a team and create a positive work environment.
- An instinct for retail, a mind for operational detail and execution are essential.
- Post Secondary Education
